**Principle** This is a type of dryer that heats and dries raw materials using a heat medium such as steam (indirect heating type). The main body of the dryer consists of a cylindrical shell and tubes arranged concentrically along the entire length of the shell. The tubes contain the heat medium, and the raw materials sent from the raw material supply section are lifted and stirred by the rotating shell and tubes while receiving heat transfer from the tubes. The main body is slightly inclined towards the outlet side, so the dried product is conveyed towards the next discharge section as it rotates. Additionally, the evaporated liquid is discharged outside the system along with a small amount of carrier gas (accompanying gas). **Features** Easy operation With sufficient residence time and easy adjustment, it can accommodate significant changes in processing volume, and operation is straightforward as it only requires management of the heat source. Energy-saving Achieves energy savings with high thermal efficiency and low running costs. External air isolation Due to the adoption of special seals, there is no gas leakage from the inside or inflow of external air, making solvent recovery easy and reducing the amount of inert gas used. Low exhaust volume As it is an indirect heating type, the amount of exhaust gas is extremely low, allowing for compact exhaust gas treatment and deodorization equipment.
